Gel teeth whitening with White Dental Beauty
A sparking white smile looks gorgeous and can be a great confidence booster. The teeth whitening services that we offer here at Clinic 95 are done at home, giving a long lasting natural whitening effect that's safe and easy to manage.
The White Dental Beauty system will give you brighter, whiter teeth in around two weeks. For this process, you'll need a total of three appointments with your dentist or hygienist.
The first appointment will be for impressions of your teeth to be taken, so that our lab can make the trays that will be a perfect fit for your mouth.
We will asses the perfect shade for your teeth, and you can have a photograph taken so that we can compare your teeth before and after the treatment. We will also ask you to sign a consent form at this appointment.
Two weeks later, your trays will be ready. Your second appointment with your dentist or hygienist is when they will first check that the trays fit perfectly, and will then demonstrate how to apply the gel. It's quite simple:-
- Place a small drop of the spearmint gel into every compartment of the tray for the teeth undergoing treatment
- Seat the tray with the gel around the teeth.
- Wipe away excess gel in the mouth with a tissue or dry soft brush.
- After treatment, remove tray. Rinse tray and mouth with lukewarm water.
The 6% hydrogen peroxide gel is recommended for use for either:
- One 45 minute session per day, or
- One or two 30 minute sessions per day
After a week or two of daily treatment, you'll come back in to meet with the dentist or hygienist and review your progress.
Following the initial process, additional syringes of the whitening gel are available to top up the whitening levels using your trays in exactly the same way.

How long do teeth stay white for after whitening treatment?
This depends on the type of teeth you have and also the type of diet you eat. While there's not much you can do to change the type of teeth you have, you can take care with your diet to ensure that you aren't bombarding your newly whitened teeth with foods and drinks that cause staining.
Red wine, black tea, coffee, and turmeric are some of the worst offenders. And also, of course, smoking can and will stain your teeth, so if you want to keep your pearly white smile, now would be a great time to kick the habit.
You can top up the your whitening treatment in approximately 18 to 24 months as necessary.
